WALGRAVE VILLAGE HALL

The Village Hall was opened in 1991 to provide a purpose built social venue for the village. The facilities include a fully equipped kitchen, seating and tables for 100 people, foyer, sports changing rooms and a small meeting room.

The hall is used by a wide variety of clubs including: line dancing, short mat bowls, dog clubs, mums and tots, as well as social functions for village fund raising. The most recent event was the three nights of the annual village Music Hall.

The Hall is available for hire for parties and other functions.

The playing fields are used by a number of football clubs and by Walgrave School.

The Village Hall and Playing Field Committee organise several fundraising events each year to support the maintenance of the Hall. The main event is the Village Open Gardens Weekend in June.
