‘Groove on the Green’ music and beer festival is on Saturday 1st September in Walgrave. Entrance is free during the day (1pm – 5pm) with several church stalls among others to support, including refreshments, bouncy castle, glitter face painting and games. Details of evening tickets at 

‘Ride and Stride’ will take place on Saturday 8th September and sponsorship forms are available at each church. Tim Kidger has arranged a 'stride' between the churches in the benefice starting at Hannington and finishing at Scaldwell. If you would like to join him or sponsor him, contact Tim on 781361.

Tuesday morning Bible Study will resume on 11th September at 10.30am in Old Community Centre. The theme will be the ‘Ten Commandments’ and everyone is welcome. For more details contact Judith Willis on 01536 791008. The evening group also starts that day at Home Farmhouse in Scaldwell at 8.00pm.

Rev Nicki Hobbs will be installed as Priest-in-Charge of Broughton, Cransley, Thorpe Malsor and Mawsley in St Andrew’s Church Broughton on Sunday 16th September at 3.00pm. You are welcome to attend and support her.

The licensing of Paul Anstice as a Lay Minister and the five yearly re-licensing
of Alex Elston and Mark Willis as Lay Readers and Judith Willis and Gill
Hewer as Lay Pastoral Ministers takes place at Peterborough Cathedral on
29th September at 2.30pm. Please come and support your Lay
